Jeff's Forty-five years in the Insurance Industry (including serving as Executive Director of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program and as Administrator of the National Flood Insurance program, both in Washington, DC) were punctuated by nearly an equal number of years sailing the Chesapeake and US East Coast.  He has been a US Coast Guard Licensed Captain for 10 years and has moved sailboats from Annapolis, MD to Hilton Head, SC via the Intra-coastal, as well as offshore from Annapolis to Fernandina Beach, FL.  He recently served as a Training Captain for Freedom Boats. Jeff has a degree from Ohio State University where he also earned his diving certification.  While frequently cautioned by his wife to be safe, Jeff's response is, "There are Old boaters, and Bold boaters, but there are No Old-Bold boaters."
