Jim Alaniz

Jim Alaniz

Jim and his family first visited Narcosis SCUBA in 2008 and dove with us on our boat. He liked it so much he and his son and daughter continued their diving education with us. He went on to complete his PADI Dive Master training with Narcosis and then became a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

Jim has been diving throughout Florida, the Caribbean and Hawaii. But his favorite place to dive is in our local Gulf Coast waters. You will most likely see Jim crewing on our boat and helping people enjoy diving our local ledges and wrecks.

Jim says this about diving locally, “I enjoy diving the Gulf with Narcosis SCUBA because we can usually find a great dive site with no other divers at the site. It is like our own private ledge or wreck….with no crowds!”

Jim is also a DAN Instructor and teaches first aid courses for SCUBA divers including Emergency Oxygen, CPR with First Aid, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, Numerological Assessment and Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFA PRO).
